Data Recovery Wizard Professional is of two versions, standard and professional version. The differences between them are as follows:

Standard Version:

Not only the recovery of common document is supported, but also the recovery of compressed or encrypted files under NTFS partition and files are supported either. However, the recovery of the files on the EXT2/EXT3 file system partition or on dynamic disk (dynamic volume) are not. If you want to recover those files mentioned above, please use Data Recovery Wizard Professional Professional version.

Professional Version:

It includes all the functions of standard version, and files on EXT2/ EXT3 file system partition or dynamic disk (dynamic volume). If you want to recover those files mentioned above, please use this version.

Remarks:

Compressed files are those documents that are compressed by Windows under NTFS partition. By means of compressed files, folders or procedures can decrease their sizes and spaces on the drivers or removable memory devices. And compressing the driver can decrease the spaces of files or folders on it.

Encrypted files are those documents that are encrypted by Encrypting File System of Windows. The Encrypting File System (EFS) provides the core file encryption technology used to store encrypted files on NTFS volumes. EFS keeps files safe from intruders who might gain unauthorized physical access to sensitive, stored data (for example, by stealing a portable computer or external disk drive).

Dynamic disk is the physical disk that only can be accessed under Windows 2000 or Windows XP or Windows 2003 or Windows Vista, which has some special functions beyond common disks. For instance, it can establish volumes that spanning several disks (striped volume and spanned volume) and fault-tolerant volumes (mirrored volume and RAID-5 volume). All volumes on the dynamic disk are dynamic volumes.

EXT2/EXT3 file system is used in Linux/UNIX Operating System. Data Recovery Wizard Professional Professional 4.3.6 especially appended this new function to recover the data from EXT2/EXT3 file system.
